The front of this species dorsal fin is shaped like a fishing
rod or lure. The fish wiggles its lure like a worm; encouraging smaller
fishes to investigate.
The camouflaged Anglerfish then quickly swallows the inquisitive fish
with its large mouth.

The much smaller male Anglerfish is a parasitic breeder. He is
attracted to the female and, like a vampire, bites into her skin and stays
attached forever. Eventually, the circulatory and reproductive systems of
the two fish merge.
