"You can't put a wise head on young shoulders." heißt ein irisches Sprichwort, das der liebe Fürst Myschkin gleich für sich entdeckt hat, als er es auf einem Zucker-Sackerl gelesen hat. Allerdings heißt es korrekt:
"You can't put a wide head on young shoulders.", was wohl auf das selbe hinausläuft, ebenso wie "You can't put an old head on young shoulders."

Auf jeden Fall hat der Fürst wohl zurecht dieses Sprichwort auf sich bezogen, denn ihm ist sogar eine Straße in Wien gewidmet:

Das Kill in den irischen Städtenamen bedeutet "Die Kirche" und kommt vom gälischen Wort Cill.

Irland Spezial - Der König von Irland

Puck Fair:
Beim Volksfest in Killorglin, das auf vorchristliche Traditionen zurückgeht, wird am 10. August ein Ziegenbock zum König von Irland gewählt (Puck Fair) Das Wort ist eine Kombination von Phuca (in Poulaphuca = Höhle der Phuca enthalten) einer als Ziege dargestellten mythologischen Figur und dem Jahrmarkt. Die christianisierte Version der Herkunft des Festes führt es auf die Zeit Oliver Cromwells zurück.
